What is your story with goals?
I always dream big and I love goals! They help me understand the direction and stay focused. One thing I learned for myself - the journey is AS IMPORTANT as the destination, sometimes even more.

Reward or punishment, what motivates you more?
Reward! These days I usually set a long-term goal, break it to milestones and then for each milestone assign myself a reward and it really keeps me motivated.

What is your main goal in 2023? How is your progress going?
Main goal is release Aimily 2.0 and help as many people as we can to achieve their goals while enjoying the journey.

What are your top 3 tips for successful goal-setting?
If I’m struggling with motivation I set up 1 day a week & use the Pomodoro technique. No matter how badly I don’t want to do something, it seems more manageable in 25-minute segments. Equally important as work is taking breaks. Avoid burn-out & maintain a healthy balance.

Reward or punishment, what motivates you more?
Punishment would never motivate me. It would make me do the bare minimum before I completely give up. Rewards point to a more positive and pleasurable experience, and if the incentive is good, my motivation will be through the roof.

What are your top 3 tips for successful goal-setting?
I like to keep my space organized, so my mind stays organized. This helps me stick to the point and not lose focus. Note-taking is also a huge part of goal-setting for me. Whenever I have new ideas or random thoughts, I write them down on my phone so I can easily look back. Also equally important, don’t forget to take breaks in-between.

What is your story with goals?
When I think of goals, two things immediately come to mind. One is my direction. If my “inbuilt compass” is not set, the most detailed goal won’t take me far. When I have a direction, I can decide whether to walk, run or fly there based on life circumstances. Another concept I love is cues. I love that by ajusting environmental cues around us we can remind ourself to work towards our goals and enjoy the journey.

What are your top 3 tips for successful goal-setting?
My top 3 tips for successful goal setting are: 1. Break down your goals into small and actionable steps. 2. Set quarterly resolutions instead of yearly resolutions. 3. Focus on the process rather than the results. Remember, setting goals is like playing chess. You need to make your moves wisely, but you also need to enjoy the game
