Aimily’s values help us get closer to the launch date
Support, growth, gratitude and joy brought us together to make an impact with Aimily - the must-have goal setting app that will change your life.
Today, we would like to tell you about our story - how we all came together as a team to build an amazing product with the aim to help you set and track goals, receive support to reach even your most ambitious goals and become the best version of yourself - to live a meaningful and purposeful life.
We are a team of 8 people from 7 different countries, located in 5 different countries, who have never met in person. We all got together by sharing the same values as Aimily - support, growth, gratitude and joy.
For five months (Feb - June 2021), we have been dedicated to staying accountable with the project to achieve important milestones.
February - Select logo and brand colours, prioritize features, decide tools, plan and start development, continue testing prototypes and building a community
March - Finalize the first version of the landing page, work on SEO, continue talking with users and building the community
April - Finish coding the MVP, upload beta to the App Store, do user testing, continue talking with users and building community
May - Fix bugs, iterate and build other features for the app, continue talking with users and building community
June - Official launch to public!

In order to achieve all these results, we went through many trials and error sessions in our design process that we would like to share with you:
March 2021 - the first prototype together as a design team of 4 members.
March 2021 - New color for the prototype after many meetings
April 2021 - MVP - Wireframe for our important milestones
May 2021 - the latest version of our prototype that will be appeared on the App Store.
We are continuously improving our process and will launch at the end of June.
As a new UX designer, I truly feel Aimily's values through my work with the team. I feel like working in a real software company where I’m part of the design team, interacting with engineer team and the entire members. I receive the necessary support and feedback from the team to realize how much I have improved with my skills in the past few months. I feel joy when entering the flow state of designing Aimily and a sense of growth and learning along the way.
